THE HOLOCAUST The Holocaust was the mass demolition of the European Jews by the National Socialist Party (Nazi) of Germany from 1933 to 1945. In The War of the Jews, Dawidowicz clarifies the conditions that made enemy of Semitism politically worthy. As Head of State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Hitler was answerable for the passings of a great many Jews.3 Hitler’s thoughts regarding the Jews were at the focal point of his psychological world.
